stealthI've always referred to that as "going stealth." My old MG did that to me a while ago and everyone I passed felt that it was necessary to point it out to me that my lights were off.

I used to do this on the M11 in wee hours of the morningIt was nice and relaxing, and you did at least know nothing was coming the other way.
You'll probably rear-end someone doing the same thing though...

I've heard thatits even more effective if done on large motorcycles, whilst overtaking cars, and knocking on the drivers window. But I've never done it.

I did this onceon the A66. I nearly ended up nose first in a ditch; strangely I've not been tempted to do it again.
