I re-layed my dining-room floor a couple of years back. On the concrete, before the laminate went down, I wrote in big black marker letters, "HAVE YOU FOUND THE BODIES YET?"

I'm quite proud of that.

My mate is a carpenter. He routinely makes treasure maps with identifiable local landmarks on, and hides them in the fixtures and fittings of the houses he builds.
He's a loss to cartography.
