This is a question The most childish thing you've done as an adult

Davros' Grandad confesses: On visiting my ex-wife's house, I wiped my bum on the toothbrush belonging to the bloke she ran off with. At least, I thought it was his toothbrush.

A few miles up the road from where I live
Is a village called Shilbottle. It is signposted from the A1 and someone, years ago, put a little cross bar on the 'l'.

It still makes me giggle when I drive past. I'm pushing 40.

.
there used to be a blank road sign in Milton Keynes pointing into an empty field (this wasnt unusual for MK, the fields would later become housing estates, and the blank signs had been put there in readiness).
Someone had stencilled the words "Plum Bottoms" onto the blank sign. I was never sure why they chose those words, but it made me laugh every time I drove past it.

Plump Bottoms
The sign's still there(on the H8 heading towards Kingston, just before the V10 roundabout), or was a few weeks ago when I last went past it. It actually used to say Plump Bottoms, but some while ago the second P seems to have disappeared.

I always
assumed that it originally said 'plump', but somehow its funnier as 'plum'.

Indeed it is still there, and has been fo many years now.

That's a bit slow for the A1

Yes, but
don't you also live moderately near 'Pity Me'? If it helps at all there's a hill in Cornwall called Brown Willy, which at the age of about 10 amused me for a good 90 minutes on holiday down there.

Do not forget
Shitlington Crag/Hall, neither of which is too far away.

One of those village signs disappeared about twelve years ago and found its way to South Wales
Not that I'd know anything about that...

Hee Hee !
I pass it every time we go up to see Ma and Pa in Bamburgh. I've been reading the signs as Shitbottle for as long as I can remember :D
