This is a question Common

Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."

My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.

What stuff do you think is common?

ASDA. There, I said it.
I quite enjoy the supermarket shopping experience in the local Tesco, Morrisons, etc etc, but setting foot in ASDA is like visiting a Natural History Museum exhibiton of Neanderthal man.
It's a truly horrific experience, made worse by the fact that the 'local' ASDA now has a Macdonalds franchise inside the store, which means lots of little darlings being chauffered about by people who can't wear baseball caps the right way around, who are not only eating burgers while pushing around a trolley and shopping, but coughing and spitting big macs over everything, and dropping gherkins, sauces, fries and all other manner of 'Mcproducts' all around the store, and wiping their greasy little mitts over all unwrapped and uncovered produce. It's f*cking disgusting.

Its such a pisser
that they are so much cheaper than Sainsbury's (my two choices other than Lidl), but i hate evryone who shops there and everyone works there.

One day the till jockey was talking on his mobile while serving me. Unsurprisingly he scanned four things twice.

In norwich its worse
We have a mcdonalds in our ASDA but its very close to an industrial estate. So you get all the commom scum going in to mcdonalds ordering their food and becuase the drinks machine is in the restraunt they go up non stop and start spitting their drink at each other.
Having said that the CDs in ASDS are quite good vaule (Yes my whole CD collection is bought) But who is really more pikey, me BUYing my CDs from a cheapo store, or other people for theiving them from the internets?
