Common
Freddy Woo writes, "My wife thinks calling the front room a lounge is common. Worse, a friend of hers recently admonished her daughter for calling a toilet, a toilet. Lavatory darling. It's lavatory."
My own mother refused to let me use the word 'oblong' instead of 'rectangle'. Which is just odd, to be honest.
What stuff do you think is common?

Tattoos
I'm sorry, but my snobbery prevents me from finding tattooed women attractive. Don't get me wrong. Angelina Jolie - fit as a butcher's, and I often imagine my appendage rubbing round her mouth like a giant lipsil - but then see her arms , and I go off the boil. Lower back tattoos are even worse.
Now I'm not anti tattoo. I don't have any, but that's my choice. My mates in the army all had them, and whether they regret them or not is immaterial.
I just find tattooed girlies very, very common.
(Don't get me started on piercings)

Each to their own fella.
I know many who feel the same.
I happen to love them.

Each to their own. For what it's worth, I'm with Piper Alpha. I don't find tattoos and piercings at all attractive. Quite the reverse in fact.
But they are popular, and many folk love them. So good on them if they do.

I'm with you on this one.
They are horrible.
A girl at work just got one on her hand like Cheryl Cole from The Spice Babes Aloud. It's fupping horrific and will probably look even more so when she all wrinkly.
