I was in a hotel recentlywhere there was a fire alarm at 2.30am, because someone had put a pizza in the microwave, accidentally (or incorrectly) set the timer delay, and then fell asleep. So the oven switched on in the middle of the night and nuked the pizza, the smoke alarm triggered, and we all had to stand around in the car park for 30 minutes. Stupid gadget.
