This is a question DIY Surgery

Majoringram tells us: I once had a wart on my hand and went to the doc to get it frozen. It hurt, lots. Instead of having to go back for more, I got my trusty rambo knife and cut the thing off. Three years later, and not even a scar!

Foot maintenance
Mrs Bulb gets disgusted at my habit of slicing off hard skin from my feet with a Stanley blade ... I can't be the only one who does this? Then my kids point to the sad little nubbin of dried skin on the floor and shout EEEERRRGGGHHH ... TOENAILS!

It's amazing the sins that marriage will forgive. Imagine doing that on a first date.

That's a family habit.
That I've inherited.

Stanley knife my arse
Use an orbital sander, that's what I do. Fine grain, don't push too hard and take it steady. If it starts feeling too warm then stop. It creates a cloud of very fine white dust, but at least it's not big chunks on the floor.

Don't confuse orbital sander with rotary sander. You need the one with the square plate that vibrates a lot. If not, get one of those sander blocks that's like a small sponge but with an abrasive on the outside.

And do it while your feet are dry and not after a bath/shower.

I use nail clippers for this.

A snap off blade works well
You can snap off and throw away the used blades that have sliced off your skanky rhino skinned foot flesh.

A tip
Have a nice hot bath first to soften the skin, it peels off like butter then use a sanding block to smooth off the jagged edges

Or so Ive been told .........

the downside
Is that you can't use the sharp bits to scratch with.
