I was about 6 at the time
My Gran left me in the car all by myself. Always wondered how the cigarette lighter worked so pushed it in and waited, couple seconds later it popped and was all ready. I pulled the lighter bit out and it was glowing red, "wonder if its hot" I thought to myself while putting my finger on it. The answer was yes.

It wasnt a gentle tap either, it was a full on lets push this hard. I now have a very strange fingerprint on that finger

I did exactly the same thing when I was a kid! I seem to remember it left a very interesting circular pattern on my thumb. No lasting marks for me though, fortunately.

Our old car had one that works by inserting the tip of the ciggy into the dash. My little sister stuck her finger into it and got a perfect ring of burns around the tip of her finger.

pushed it in... thought 'maybe I shouldn't have done that', pulled it out, and tried to push the button back out from the other side with my thumb. That was an interesting shaped blister

i did something similar except that i stubbed the cigarette lighter out on the (leather) passenger seat of my dad's BMW 2002ti... got a right bollocking for that one, i was only 5!
