Fears and Phobias
I'll level with you. I'm really freaked out by loose buttons. I'm fine while they're doing their job, but once they're free the evil bastards are a major threat to my life. Tell us what spooks you, and how you cope. Also: church bells, doner kebab salads, death.

It does seem to be his main occupation these days.
Per his profile, he has posted 10738 messages on /board, 94117 messages on /talk and 15363 replies on QOTW. Assuming one minute per post (which is undoubtedly too small of an estimate), he has spent over 83 full days on here over the past eleven years.
Apparently he has a very full and rich life.

I put all the bleating background sheep on ignore
you all inevitably sound the ignore horn within two or three minutes ... because you're very busy and not at all obsessed by somebody on the internet

...and delete things when someone makes a reply that you don't like.
I find you amusing in a sad sort of way. I merely looked up your stats, did a very basic computation and put it forth. I'm pretty sure that I drastically underestimated the time spent by at least a factor of four. Apparently your dependence on this site fill some hole in your life, going by your dedication to it.
You've spent over a decade on this. Quite an achievement. *slow clap*

Well, if you insist...
Doing the same thing, I find that Amorous Badger has posted 59078 messages on /talk, 10874 messages on /qotw, 755 on /board, and 193 on /links. Not counting the "stories" on QOTW or the massive amount of time spent on his life's work in his prized Archive, we get 49 days spent on here in the past 11 years if we assume one minute per post. Again, I'd say that my estimate is off by at least a factor of four, probably more in this case.
Another life made complete by b3ta. Good thing that time wasn't wasted on getting out to see other people or doing some sort of work.

They must all be the same person.
There's no way this amount of dullness and misplaced pomposity can occur more than once in a generation.
