This is a question First World Problems

Onemunki says: We live in a world of genuine tragedy, starvation and terror. So, after hearing stories of cruise line passengers complaining at the air conditioning breaking down, what stories of sheer single-minded self-pity get your goat?

Is it "bash a benefit claimant week", this week?

I haven't read all the posts - come in for a bit of stick have they. I'm not of the daily mail hate breed. When people need or can claim then they should claim but to then try and say it's not enough for 5 a day isn't right or fair. I think this is where sympathy goes out the window and is sadly extended to other normal claiments.

I'd say that it's less that fruit & veg are too expensive,
and more that processed shite is too cheap.

That said, I've never heard anyone complain that they can't afford to eat properly, and would assume that it's more that some people don't understand how to.

Has more to do with LAZY
As in.........if they weren't so lazy, they would turn inexpensive fresh food into a meal.....if they weren't so lazy, the place they live in would be tidy......if they weren't so lazy, they'd be employable and have a job or support themselves in some manner. Generally speaking, yes I know there are exceptions, but not many.

Nicely done.
Wider society is absolved from all blame, and can go back to ignoring the underclass, then be massively surprised when the riots kick off again.

What I get from that is....
we should keep giving lazy people free money & stuff, just so they don't get violent?
