during our student days, if anyone had a disagreement with another housemate, all the furniture would be pushed to the edges of the living room, they would don gloves and pads and have it out

That the person with the most physcial strength will always get their way, regardless of strong their argument is.

The likely winner in my office
Has the mental capacity of a potato. And not just any potato, but one which other potatoes look at then shake their heads sadly as they walk away.
He actually believes that the moon landings were faked. I don't want someone like that running things!
