What really annoys me about Christian iconography
isn't so much the 'white Jesus syndrome'. It's in Nativity plays, when God takes the form of a half-squid half-man and rises from the sea. It's very realistic, but it doesn't make a lot of sense! Still, the kids seem to like it - especially the ones from the older families that've been here for a hundred years.
