QOTW
is about funny stories, right? Am I missing something? When did it turn into a forum to bash religions? Personally I don't believe in God, but thats beside the point. I would like to read some funny posts that are related to the question. If I wanted a debate about religion I'll go and buy Readers Digest. Please, people! This is all very dull at the moment!

Not always about funny stories, no
Sometimes thought-provoking, upsetting, heartwarming, rage-inducing....'human interest' puts it best, perhaps.

And whilst I'm not really the Reader's Digest type and am thus speaking from a position of somewhat ignorance, if I wanted a debate on religion I don't think I'd go looking for it in there. Isn't that a bit of a strange thing to say?

Philosophy aside...bring on the childishness!
Religion started it!

.
That begs the question.

QOTW is about personal answers to a question.
So no, not about funny stories. It can have funny stories, it can have sad ones, angry ones, dull ones or excited ones.

And posting an answer like this doesn't really help the cause you're aiming for. Your post was rather dull too. =p

I suggest maybe ignoring the qotw until it finished then reading ht best page, or ignoring it until the next question comes out.

Why not suggest one you think would inspire funny or happy stories?

Indicative...
...of the net effect of religion on the population if you ask me. What? Oh, you didn't. Still, there it is.

Just another good reason to sack it forever to me.

Erm...
I haven't really seen many religion bashing stories here. A lot of religious nutter bashing stories maybe, but not religion bashing.

I won't attack another religion but I really won't accept some spongehead telling me to follow his or her opinion and that, if I don't, I'm going to burn in hell. I follow my own path and believe in treating people how I want to be treated; I don't force my beliefs on you, so why do you feel the need to force it on me?

Religion isn't bad, people are.

I've been bashing religion...
...and I've been bashing precisely because it is bad.
