a man in Las Vegas buy a large all-you-can-drink coca cola rather than a medium all-you-can-drink coca cola that was also on offer. Like Alan's big plate.

Different size drink-as-much-as-you-can drinks? The mind, it boggles. Presumably this is for people who like to minimie the number of times refilling, when they could be busy gorging themselves?

I would love to go to Las Vegas though.

Imagine the conversation that must have taken place when they were writing the menu;

"What the hell?! Why've you put both a medium and a large on there? Why would anyone buy a large if they can just buy a medium and refill it once more? That's ridiculous."

"This is Vegas. Trust me, they will. We should probably think about selling an extra large one with a 'collectors' edition' straw; that way we could leave out the refills completely."

I went once and loved it
especially the buffets. We saw people piling their plates ridiculously high rather than walk back for more.

We ate a lot but we did have the dignity to have several smaller courses.

I go to Taybarns now and then and dream of the Las Vegas buffets. One day I'll go back.

buffet breakfast tastic
Stayed at the Circus Circus for a few days with the missus and went for the breakfast buffet option, the amount of food they have on offer looks ridiculous until you see the size of the punters.

Worked out well though, have a stonking great breakfast, snaffle some fruit, and that'll see you through till dinner time, during which you can look at the lions, watch the water show, and get hassled constantly by guys offering you sex magazines. Did the whole stretch in about 3 days, gets a bit tiring after that.

Well I suppose that in diabetics a constant infusion of hugely sugary drinks would lead to diabetic retinopathy but that would happen over a period of years.
