"Last week," Ungersven confesses, "I vomited over almost everything in a friend's spare room. The only thing to escape the deluge was the rather attractive (alas engaged) French girl who was sharing the bed with me." Tell us about nightmare guests or Fred West-a-like hosts.

How long after your girlfriend splits up with you is it reasonable to expect her (and her two kids) to move out of your house?
Two months so far.
(She owns a house too, but that's got some paying tenants in it. Who moved in two months ago.)

^this
She has paying tenants, she has money. Travelodges are very affordable. See if you can mention that sometime soon.

Hmmm
Not as cheap as full rent though.
Me and the misses got accidentally pissed up the other night and stayed in one next to the pub as I could no longer drive home.
78 bloody quid for a tiny room...on a Wednesday.
Made sure I had the all-you-can eat English breakfast though.

My ex wife
tried to make me pay the electric and gas bill for her, her 2 kids, her new boyfriend and other friend who were living in my old house. 6 months after I had moved out.
Exes. Lovely group of people.

I'd have told her it was over outside the house,
That way you can go into the house and lock the door behind you.

as soon as its over
Kick the harlot out. Yes she has 2 kids, but at the end of the day all three of them are now loafing off you. Its even worse she has her own place which she is renting out - meaning she has enough money coming in to rent a place for her and her brood. The longer you let it go on, the less incentive (and desire) they have to find their own place - shes milking your kindness and using you mate. And saving herself quite a bit of cash in the meantime. If you are in the fair camp, give her two weeks to GTFO then if she refuses, change the locks and call in the old bill.
