Then go back to the first pub that you visited and have a pint there.

My brother did something very similar
He dragged his wife around a large bookshop while he randomly picked books off the shelves and thumbed through them. Within minutes, she was sighing loudly, kicking her heels and asking how long he'd be and was he going to buy anything.

And it didn't waste valuable drinking time.

I'm not quite sure how this is hypocrisy.
