This is a question Impulse buys

I'm now the owner of a monster trampoline that's nearly too big for the garden. Tell us your retail disasters and triumphs.

Tweet is a small, cuddly blackbird toy that makes the sound of a real blackbird when you squeeze him. He's adorable.
I bought him in January as a treat after university exams, and he lives mainly in my bed, either perched on the pillow or just peeping out from under the covers. He's the only cuddly toy I currently own, having shut all my previous ones in a cupboard when I was eleven (my sister and I decided it wouldn't be 'cool' for us to have toys when at secondary school).
Since buying him, I have found that the way people react to Tweet when they first meet him is an excellent way of determining personality. I call this (somewhat unimaginitively) 'The Tweet Test'.
The sign of a caring, well-adjusted person is to think that Tweet is really cute and coo over him a little bit, maybe ask where to get a bird like him.
An arrogant person will hardly make any comments, even when presented with Tweet directly.
People who are insecure or self-absorbed will think that Tweet is staring at them, thinking about them or even talking about them.
There is no pass or fail to the test, but it is very revealing, and very, very useful for determining suitability of prospective boyfriends.

This is rather cool
I like the sound of tweet. I keep my old teddy Mustard around for a very similar reason.

wonderful
I absolutely love the sound of blackbirds singing and used to really look forward to late summer evenings when I could leave the windows open and go to sleep to the sound of their song. All I get to listen to now are the cackles of kookaburras and the screeches of cockatoos - fascinating birds, but certainly not contenders in any bird song competition.

you could buy a cuddly bird from teh RSPB
Google 'RSPB birds with real bird calls' and you can get nearly every songbird species in the British Isles :-)

This makes someone a suitable boyfriend?
The sign of a caring, well-adjusted person is to think that Tweet is really cute and coo over him a little bit, maybe ask where to get a bird like him.

Sounds like someone to push away with a stick to me. I don't see how not reacting like a toddler to a stuffed toy makes you arrogant. Maybe they just don't have soft toy experience.

Well
That's what I've found... not responding does not make you arrogant per se, but the people who don't respond do often turn out to be arrogant, so how about that? Like I said, there was no pass or fail, and it's obviously not the sole criterion for choosing a boyfriend - I'm not that dim.
Toddlers usually throw there stuff around/try to eat it because they're angry little buggers. Never met anyone who's done that to Tweet.

I like this test
my ex was the same with her toys, it led to a good relationship for a while.
I can see how Tweet serves as a good test, if prospective boyfriend doesn't embrace you and Tweet then you'd have a part of your life which you couldn't share with him.
