only in guildford
my mate told me that one saturday afternoon before a gig he was wandering around the centre bit when he overheard the following classic line from a 4 year old child, delivered in piercingly confident cut glass tones

"but mummy! ive spilt pesto on my gillet!!"

classic, even funnier once i'd looked up what a 'gillet' actually was....

Reminds me of Peter Mandleson
On being parachuted into his safe Labour seat of Monkeyhanger, visited the local chippy, being a man of the people and all that.

PM points at the mushy peas and asks "is your guacamole organic"?

Twat.

@osok...
Sadly, that's something of an urban myth. Michael White did a series on political myths a couple of months ago on Radio 4 that put that one to bed...

Shhhh
I don't care, it's too plausible not to be repeated as often as possible.

Besides, anyone who used to have a moustache like his deserves birching.

Nooooooooooooo! Damn you Enzyme!
Thats my favourite story about that gormless twat, I won't have my myths dispelled *furiously reads Daily Mail*

^ eugh, St. Magnolia
was martyred on a paint roller.

When my flatmate moves out, my hallway is going to be white, the stairway will be white and the landing will be white...

...except for the wall near the top of the stairs which will be a teal-y blue and will feature rather lovely photos from my rather copious travels. I actually wanted atlas wallpaper for that wall but it's too expensive.

Go on then
What's a gillet? Are you sure you spelled that right? Google's got nothing.

A gillet
often pronounced "jee-lay" rather than "gill-ett" is a sleeveless jacket. Once they were called body-warmers.
