Look! It's me in the Local PaperMost local papers will print any old rubbish. Far, far too many years ago I got into the Windsor, Slough and Eton Express after winning a fancy-dressed-bicycle competition. What they neglected to mention was that I was the only entrant.

Some friends and I set fire tosome gorse bushes on a hillside near our homes when we were about 15. We then put the blaze out (it got quite big quite quickly), lied about seeing some boys running away from thee scene, and got a photo and story in the local paper, together with a certificate of commendation from the fire chief and an offer of compensation for singed clothing from the community association. We declined the money but accepted the praise. /shameful
