So, in his honour, how nerdy were you? Are you still sunlight-averse? What are the sad little things you do that nobody else understands?
As an example, a B3ta regular who shall remain nameless told us, "I spent an entire school summer holiday getting my BBC Model B computer to produce filthy stories from an extensive database of names, nouns, adjectives, stock phrases and deviant sexual practices. It revolutionised the porn magazine dirty letter writing industry for ever.

I'm off on holiday to America on Wednesday...How is this relevent to this weeks qotw you ask yourselves. Well, while there I will be meeting up with the biggest nerd on the other side of the Atlantic, our American friend The Resident Loon. Anyone wishing to pass on a hug, a slap on the back, a wedgie, a peck on the cheek, a Vulcan death grip or anything else you can think of then please let me know.
I will be gone for 6 days and if anyone wishes to lament my absence from the boards then please feel free.

She has no idea what she's getting into. *evil chuckle*Yesterday we had a concentration of geekiness in my back yard sufficient to give pause to anyone- two engineers and an engineering school dropout building a shed. The conversation ranged from the "all roads lead to Roam" pun I dropped earlier in the QOTW to the types of loads the various support members of the building would be subjected to. It was enough that the Lunatic Artist took refuge inside.
On the other hand, I imagine I'll find enough things around the area to keep her entertained- Maymont, Belle Isle, Skyline Drive, tea at the Jefferson, the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, the various shops of Carytown, the lunatic fringe that call themselves VCU art students, the even more lunatic fringe that I call my friends... yeah, she's in for an experience.
