So whose lurking in the shadows then?
I just got back from watching a nervy football game. What's occupied your evenings and what are you all wearing?
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 22:38, 70 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
I am wearing the skin of some fucking tramp that I had to kill.
I got carried away when I cut him- a massive flap of skin happened and I thought 'well, why not?', so I skinned the piece of shit then had a shower wearing his skin.

First time he'd seen some soap for a long, long time.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 22:43, Reply)
this is the best opening response to a thread ever.

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 22:46, Reply)
I didn't skin him for your benefit.

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 22:50, Reply)
nonetheless I salute you.

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 22:50, Reply)
I made a snowman and used his eyes.
It was fucking funny.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 22:55, Reply)
But we won
so we're through to the knockout stage. Woo.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 22:45, Reply)
we don't make it easy for ourselves though. Eboue was good at left back.

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 22:47, Reply)
I'm sure Professor Yaffle is happy on the shelf right now.

poppet has just gone to bed, and I'm never sleepy :(

I'm wearing my typical wool dress and leggings
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:05, Reply)
are you an elf?

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:07, Reply)
I've been known
to doze with my eyes open. I reckon my mum might have been playing away from home with Elrond

How long are you staying in college til?

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:12, Reply)
the 15th :)

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:14, Reply)
I don't have to put your staircase number on post, do I? Just send to "BlahBlah College"?
Thank you for your time.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:15, Reply)
:) just the college yeah
they sort the post for us.

I'm intrigued now!

-whistles nonchalantly-

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:18, Reply)
I think I definitely just pouted
it was horrifically unappealing.

Me and poppet found the best face mask though
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:21, Reply)
Ooh really, what was it like?
My Love Lettuce has gone mouldy :(
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:22, Reply)
tea-tree and peppermint
and my skin is lovely and smooth. Good stuff.

Your Love Lettuce... do I dare ask?
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:26, Reply)
Haha, it does sound rude. Probably meant to be "Love Letters" though.
lush.co.uk/products/skincare/face/fresh-face-masks/love_lettuce_387.html

It's really nice on your face. I had a discussion with a very hot shop assistant (who in hindsight was probably very gay) about how it makes us feel like we're Elphaba from Wicked when we wear it.

...Ok, definitely gay. He was wearing a vest too :(
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:29, Reply)
which makes me think of JGL in Inception
which I can't find a torrent of :(

I bought some Snow Fairy from there today
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:31, Reply)
Mais non! JGL is BEAUTIFUL
there should be a torrent of HIM.

Snow Fairy... I was saying to b3th a few threads ago. I like it, but it's a bit too sickly sweet, and not as nice as some of the more "natural" ones. I do recommend Happy Hippy (grapefruit, I think) and Flying Fox (jasmine and honey). The Olive Branch is lovely too.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:35, Reply)
He is indeed
part of the reason I want to watch Inception again. I'll have to wait till I get home!

I bought it for my sister. She likes sparkly, glittery things and I saw yours and b3ths conversation :) Flying Fox sounds lovely though.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:43, Reply)
Give me a good sniff next time you see me

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:53, Reply)
Shall sniff you
(check out poppet's fb status for lulz by the way)
(, Thu 9 Dec 2010, 0:00, Reply)

Just a bit strung out with work and the interview for the job I need but don't know if I want. I'm just a bit emo at the mo
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:13, Reply)
Well I wish you the best of luck, with your job interview and with personal enlightenment.
Shit will be cash.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:14, Reply)
cheers
it'll be fine, now. Then weekend partying, I think I need it
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:16, Reply)
how's the job thing going?
I'm assuming that's the supportive messages thing?
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:12, Reply)
yeah - I was having a self confidence fail
and totally demanded people be nice on facebook. They did, to a point where I'm a little embarrassed. Completely seperately my current workmates sent me good luck (but we don't want you to get it) messages
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:14, Reply)
best of luck with it
I'm sure you'll get the one you want
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:20, Reply)

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:12, Reply)

Don't worry, I'll not go exposing myself - my lounge window can be seen from a surprising amount of swansea
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:15, Reply)
I ate a baked potato and danced to the Village People
There might be something wrong with me.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:13, Reply)
nah
nothing wrong with baked potatoes
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:16, Reply)
This is not normal Wednesday behaviour
I'm knackered, and I batted out my nose ring again. At least it's fully healed, but trying to find a tiny piece of metal in your bed when you've only just woken up is a right arse.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:17, Reply)
that's some kerrazy dancing
I'm off to sleep now - night all
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:18, Reply)
That was this morning
Night, Incy.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:22, Reply)
you should have danced the mashed potato and eaten a village person

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:17, Reply)
That fireman DOES look tasty...

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:18, Reply)

was supposed to be christmas party.

this turned into work, gym, party.

got revised to work, gym.

has ended up with massive fat pizza and many pear absolut vodkas...
:(((((

i am still in my work gear, so above-knee navy pinstriped pencil skirt, fitted black shirt, black tights and high heels.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:24, Reply)
good night then?
*pizza fives*
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:28, Reply)
fucking massive fat bastard pizza fives
extra thin crispy base with mozzarella, mushrooms, aubergines, courgettes, mixed peppers, balsamic onions, goats cheese and pine nuts... and i added jalapenos.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:36, Reply)
Delicious
apart from the courgettes and pine nuts.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:42, Reply)
my friend had
something with feta cheese and red peppers and balsamic onions and a drizzle of pesto, it looked divine!
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:44, Reply)
That sounds insanely good
but I'm bloody hungry now!
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:49, Reply)
I do love balsamic onions

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:52, Reply)
Mmmmm
*belly gurgles*
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:54, Reply)
Urgh
Balsamic vinegar is blergh.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:59, Reply)
honestly, that fire & stone restaurant is the best pizza topping place for miles around
i am raving about the veggie ones because i am vegetarian, but they are only 10% of the menu! when i went the other week i had a "white" pizza (ie no tomato sauce), it was provologne cheese with roasted garlic mushrooms, bechemal sauce, roasted onions, sprinkling of gorgonzola and walnuts!
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:55, Reply)
I have to say
The London one looks lovely. Might even brave the mushrooms for it.
(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:59, Reply)
mushrooms are awesome...
my computer twice clicked "ignore" instead of "reply" then, must be instinctive!

but they are totally optional, it leaves moar mushrooms in their kitchens for me if you don't like them...
(, Thu 9 Dec 2010, 0:09, Reply)
Argh!
that really is making me very hungry, it sounds fucking awesome! They're a chain though aren't they?
(, Thu 9 Dec 2010, 0:02, Reply)
yup
there is one in cambridge and one somewhere really random like portsmouth, but the rest are london
(, Thu 9 Dec 2010, 0:08, Reply)
and one in Oxford I think :)
near Jamies
(, Thu 9 Dec 2010, 0:11, Reply)
REALLY???
i am up in either feb or march i think (total disorganisation here), that solves where we go out then!!!!!!
(, Thu 9 Dec 2010, 0:24, Reply)
yeah I'm pretty sure
I've never been, because if I'm down that way for food it either means Jamies (for expensive by student standards food) or Noodle-nation (for cheap, cheap good foood)
(, Thu 9 Dec 2010, 0:26, Reply)
I just need a soupcon of your motivation and drive and I would be sorted.

(, Wed 8 Dec 2010, 23:29, Reply)

I like that top
and I'd like leggings to fit like that on me :(
(, Thu 9 Dec 2010, 0:54, Reply)
Conversely, I have a lot of aggro getting tops to fit properly (poor torso/leg length ratio).

(, Thu 9 Dec 2010, 1:05, Reply)
I'm built wrong
my legs should be slightly longer to be a perfect match. Which means tops generally aren't quite long enough. Buying a size 12 top for a tall person generally solves the problem.
