A mate had an uncut-version he downloaded.
He said it was sick.

Worse than human centipede.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:05, 3 replies, latest was 15 years ago)
Human Centipede was a crap film
once you got over the unpleasant concept, the actual film was rubbish.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:09, Reply)
But the Human Centipede wasn't scary
or even that gross.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:11, Reply)
Yeah but ultraviolence can be cool
Even if it's just to see how far you can push yourself. Plus, the concept looks interesting.

Or I'm just a freak trying to justify myself.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:11, Reply)
I disagree
but then I'm a pussy and I have absolutely no interest in that kind of thing.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:12, Reply)
Yeah
it's like with Saw. After the third movie I stopped watching them, it just became weirdly intense
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:16, Reply)
I never liked Saw or Hostel
I hate Hollywood torturepornesque films
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:17, Reply)
but isn't that pretty much
'A Serbian Film'?
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:19, Reply)
No, it's a political allegory, not just a pathetic excuse for the most extreme violence they can get away with.

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:22, Reply)
Like the Human Centipede
is a metaphor for the extremes of body modification in our society. Or an allegory for how science is dehumanising us
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:27, Reply)
Except the director of the Human Centipede didn't actually claim his film to be anything other
than a really sick idea which he turned into a film. The director of a Serbian Film actually thinks you can use allegory in films.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:29, Reply)
The director of Human Centipede
Just had a joke with his mates about how paedophiles should have their mouths grafted tp the arses of obese truckers. And thus, a classic was born...
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:35, Reply)
^this
The Hollywood ones are about gore over substance. The foreign ones tend to be ultraviolent to make a point.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:29, Reply)
I was being sarcastic
It is not a political allegory, it is just an excuse for a very grotesque film. Allegory doesn't work on film, no matter what the director says.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:30, Reply)
Yes but it is about furthering the plot
Not an excuse to show a frightened lass with her tits out pleading.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:32, Reply)
How can it further the plot?
I read the synopsis and it was awful. I couldn't spot any meaning to it at all. Suggestion is sometimes more powerful than exactly the same tripe that Saw 261 gives us.

Edit: in fact trying to give it a reason makes it worse. It's a perverse kind of justification. Pretty much the point that Al made above I guess
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:36, Reply)
Maybe it is
But I know I don't like Saw films. I don't know I don't like this until I see it.

It could just be that I want to see if I can handle watching it.*

I realise these are shit arguments but I've been smoking and watching Peep Show in bed all afternoon/evening. My brain is not working at the moment.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:41, Reply)
I see how my argument doesn't add up on paper (or screen)
But not really. I can't explain why without going into an epic explanation, and I'm on my phone.

Just trust me that in my head, they're different.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:24, Reply)
I'll take your word for it
Don't think there's anything that could persuade me to see it though!
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:29, Reply)
Stuff like that really doesn't bother me
I'm scarily good at compartmentalising :/
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:31, Reply)

There's bit where he rapes a baby if you can compartment that you need locking up in a padded room for a few years
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:42, Reply)
Yeah but I know it's not real.
If I thought it was real it'd fuck me up.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:45, Reply)
Go Tee Gee G Tee Gee Go! Go Tee Gee Go Tee Gee Go!

Oh hai al I'm watchingthat programme about your weight loss
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:51, Reply)
What programme is that then?

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:54, Reply)

Half ton man
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 0:10, Reply)
I saw Saw IV, I think it was, at the cinema
I ended up hiding for most of it and trying to crawl in to my friends lap for some of the more gruesome parts. Admittedly I fancied him rotten at the time but I really just do not have the stomach for gruesome stuff. Which is strange, given that I've helped out with a post mortem and seen actual real gore.
(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:17, Reply)
I can't watch Casualty for similar reasons.

(, Sun 2 Jan 2011, 23:28, Reply)
I do like worryingly violent films
Oldboy, Ichi the Killer, DeadGirl, that sort of stuff.
