Anyone else watching the Big Fat Quiz of the Year?
thoughts so far? Fielding is a bit irritating, Ross is a tit, Alan Carr is funny though.

alt q: Who would you have on your ultimate quiz show. Four guests max. Go!

I've got 'The Story of Light Entertainment' on BBC Four on.
I've got The Football League Show on Sky+, that'll be going on shortly.

I like it
but I am a hairy over grown child.

(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 23:30, Reply)
Why?
I'd have happily been the contestant on 'Grab a Grand' - cos that was free money, albeit it with Frank Bruno trying to pick Yen off the floor of a phone box with a fan in it, but the rest of the show was shit.

because I'm not 10 years old anymore but at the time it kept me entertained.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 23:47, Reply)
I remember watching it once
when that hatchet faced bitch off loose women had put chris evans on it. All I could focus on was the fact that his socks were filthy.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 23:49, Reply)
That is a very specific memory of the show you've got there.

(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 23:50, Reply)

In other news, I've just seen the best story

My dad liked her.

(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 23:23, Reply)
Who didn't?
I liked how they acknowledged stuff, like how LWT was doing an ITV show 'joining up the networks'.There's this pretence of slickness nowadays, and it's all so distant and other worldly, yet when tv was newer, and was still a mystery, they mentioned technical stuff, and acknowledged a lot more. I don't know how to convey this. I'll shut up.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 23:29, Reply)
I think we just have to say...
'Telly was better back in the 80s'
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 23:30, Reply)

If so, they can fucking die. Painfully.

Alt Q: Ross Noble, Eddie Izzard, Rowan Atkinson and Kevin Smith.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 23:33, Reply)
I have watched it and laughed my tits off

Having never had any 'real life' friends, I always love watching these panel type shows, because it feels like having a lugh in the pub with mates.

Alt: andy hamilton, sean lock, david mitchell, jimmy carr

and me, obviously.
(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 23:40, Reply)
*there there*

(, Mon 3 Jan 2011, 23:46, Reply)
Is watching
And dont know if i should be smug that I know a lot of the answers or concerned I spend too much time on the internets and TV

My ultimate Tv quiz would be wilderness survival, foraging, obscure tribal life and eating weird stuff based
so guests would be Ray Mears, Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall, Bruce Parry & Heston Blumenthal
