He said something
about how there needed to be more women at higher levels in law but the problem was they kept fucking off and having children. Fair enough, but I just asked politely if part of the problem was also an assumption that women were going to want/have children, and thus are less likely to get promoted because of that contributing to the shortage. He got quite huffy but I think that was because everyone else was sitting there lapping it up, and there were several hot blondes flirting like mad with him.

i have to say, i hate the whole race/gender thing - i got really irritated at the college of law when i heard one asian girl say to another "i hope you played the race card" and they both laughed - it should make no difference whether you are a man or a woman. but it does. female partners in the city are few and far between!
