I imagine the old ones were better
but even a brand new 1.8 Astra had no grunt to it at all. It was ok when you are doing like 60 and accelerating, but getting there was fucking dreadful.

I'd love to have a go in a new Scirocco, they are great looking cars and Golfs are great to drive, so I imagine they must be too.

My last two hires have been an 09 Micra and a brand new 59 Fiesta.
The Fiesta was nice but the Micra was so much fun to drive. Apparently I'm picking up a brand new Micra on Sunday for the week.

the heated front screen was a blessing this morning.

It also has a push button start and the key fob only needs to be inside the car to start it.
