Set adrift on memory bliss.
That must be in the last ten years.

Just checked 1991.
Which is somewhat outside the 'last ten years'.

I went back in 2003 after a long absence but I just moaned like an old man the whole time.

I fancy this festival this year.
www.kendalcalling.co.uk/Some mates went and said it was great, although they went with kids so their idea of great may differ to yours.

I used to go to Guildfest instead
with mates and their kids. It's lovely but so middle-class it's untrue. The Samaritans tent is full of people stressing about their kid's trust funds and how they can afford the upkeep on Jocasta's pony.
I like it because drunken cunts never trash your tent and Alabama 3 always seem to play.

I suspect Kendal calling will be the same.

When my kid's a few years older I might take her,
but the only festival I am interested in these days is HAWKFEST.
(not counting MONTSTOCK, of course)

I got over Glastonbury ridiculously quickly
2005 was amazing. Had such a great time. Enforced break "to let the land recover" in 2006 meant I was champing at the bit in 2007. A combination of appalling weather, way too many people and a surprising failure to book ant decent bands on Friday or Saturday put me right off

I could have sworn when we meet you were not more than 3 years older than me.
