I'm superstitious about solitary magpies
so if I see one I quite often have to stop and look around until I find another. I know this is ludicrous, it doesn't have to be pointed out to me.

I have a similar thing with crows
If I see a lone one then I have to throw stones at it until he runs away. Flies away! Obviously I mean flies.

I'm not superstitious about it
but I do salute solitary magpies.

As a Sunderland fan
I dont generally like Magpies

You must be entertained by their current situation though
No striker, £35 million unspent (which you know Ashley is putting aside to offset the cost of relegation) and Alan Pardew in charge. Going down like Divine Brown

35mil will last Ashley
about 37 days, going by his £970,000 night in Aspers casino a few weeks back

Judging by responses in here
it seems you may be right

EDIT:
He MUST be a Sunderland fan. Its the only possible explanation

But look at the good work he is doing!

Good point
By the same criteria we have to assume that Flavio Briatore has only recently been advised that he's supposed to support QPR, as opposed to whoever it is their rivals are. Or maybe he just doesn't know anything about football.
