How in the name of shitting christ can you like Glee and hate Moulin Rouge?
HOW DARTH? HOW?

It's not complicated
Moulin Rouge was shite. I can't stand Baz Luhrmann at the best of times, his films are all coated with such a veneer of ooh-look-at-me-aren't-I-fantastic pretension. And when you bear in mind what his debut was, that is not something I say lightly

I've seen half his films, and thoroughly enjoyed both of them.

I so loved Strictly Ballroom.
But I agree about Moulin Rouge. Didn't even finish watching it and I rarely do that.

The first time I saw Strictly Ballroom I thought it was fucking ridiculous
The outfits, the hair, the fake tan. Now when I watch it I find it a little too close to home and painful. It was better when I could laugh at it.

But... but...
Moulin Rouge is good.

I agree.

Nope
I'm with Bella on the Glee, but anything Baz Luhrmann sets his hands on turns to absolute shit, especially Moulin Rouge

I really liked it.
Yep, I'm sure this'll mean I'm a 'bumder' and all that shite, but I thought the film was superb, made me laugh my arse off in bits, and I got to perve on Nicole Kidman.
