Oh it makes me laugh occasionally, don't get me wrong.
And it's a good lampooning of religion which I'm all for. But christ, when people get hold of things and put them on pedestals and make them some kind of holy grail does my head in, especially when it's just an average movie.

I hate it when people, especially LARPers
Endlessly quote that and The Holy Grail. Makes me want to hurt them.

Ha! Holy Grail.
I agree with you though, but add Se7en, Donnie Darko, Fight Club and American Beauty to that list. I enjoyed Se7en, the rest were just dull. Then you've got people talking about them like they're the second coming of Christ?

Fuck off.

All better than The Life of Brian though.
IMDB Top 250:
14. Fight Club
39. American Beauty
135. Donnie Darko
164. Life of Brian

It's my only real power :(

What lines get quoted from Se7en?
Or American Beauty for that matter.
(, Fri 4 Feb 2011, 10:23, Reply)
It's not the quoting, it's the putting them on a pedestal.
