it's not a pity reply from here.
I'm properly awake and stuff. Trying to work up the energy to go for a walk in the local wildlife reserve.

AND it's hard, because alllll you want to do on the weekends is veg out and recuperate.

Is the wildlife reserve full of snakes?

(, Sat 12 Feb 2011, 23:32, Reply)
OK, that would be a reason not to go

ahaha just wear long trousers and strong shoes and make a bit of noise as you're walking and it's all good.

(, Sat 12 Feb 2011, 23:35, Reply)
erm, yeah probably, they're around.
also Emus, Echidnas, Wombats and Koalas. And Kangaroos and wallabies.

I'm hoping there arent too many spiders though. I can handle everything else.

Your country is full and dangerous animals.
The best we've got is the swan. The swan it's claimed can break your arm.

I've never known anyone, or indeed read a news report, of this happening.

ahaha when I was visiting Noel we fed the swans at the river.
and this fucking MASSIVE one launched himself out the the water right in front of us - I was about half a metre away and backed off rather quickly!!

and you guys have like cockatoos and things in the wild
(, Sat 12 Feb 2011, 23:34, Reply)
mate there are cockatoos at my house,
and I fucking hate them in the spring - hundreds of them sit in the trees and squawk for hours.
(, Sat 12 Feb 2011, 23:36, Reply)
but but but
they are way more impressive than sparrows. Although I do like sparrows
(, Sat 12 Feb 2011, 23:38, Reply)
Sparrows are lovely.
We've got a family (again, I think there's a couple hundred of them - there's a lot of native trees where I live), that feed themselves on the leftover chicken grain.

I'm not a fan of blue tits.
They're a bit too corpsy for my liking.
