i LOVED my vintage beetle when i was in 6th formbut my dad hated it... the battery went, the brakes went, the clutch slipped, the accelerator got stuck on, then the clutch slipped again... you have to be good at car maintenance or very rich to make it worthwhile i think. but i much prefer old cars, much much nicer.
