Woo! Go Crunchy.
What did the bloke you're not seeing say?
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 21:37, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
nothing exciting
just a continuation of the conversation we'd been having. Oh, and he dissed conceptual art, he knows not the rant I will be replying with. I might have to tone it down before I send it
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 21:42, Reply)
Before going back to him with a rant
Why not see if you can find an exhibition of conceptual art in an agreeable location and suggest you go there together, just to see if you can change his mind?
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 21:44, Reply)
Oooo, this!
offer to change his mind!
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 21:47, Reply)
Did I do good berk? Did I?

(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:00, Reply)
We'll you've cheered up.
And my spidey-senses detect TENNIS-COACH-HOTNESS is the cause.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:02, Reply)
I have had a terribly long, crap day
but I am a touch more cheerful now, yes. Just a touch. Work will still be shit in the morning though.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:08, Reply)
You've got a fun weekend planned though.
Will that be enough to get your through tomorrow?
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:10, Reply)
I hope so
I may have to buy emergency chocolate on the way in to work though, just in case.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:11, Reply)
What sort of chocolate do you turn to in your hour of need?

(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:14, Reply)
...any available?

(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:15, Reply)
It's gotta be the Crunchie on a Friday.
It's the law.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:20, Reply)
leave me out of this!

(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:22, Reply)
heh
What chocolate would you buy?
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:24, Reply)
hard to say, I get all flustered at the decision
picnic or caramel or dark bounty or fruit and nut..aaaaaaahhh too much choice
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:26, Reply)
I don't think I've ever eaten a Picnic
Are they similar to the Lion bar?
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:28, Reply)
yes
but better as they contain raisins. Everything is better with raisins
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:30, Reply)
I might have to try a Picnic one day.
No rush though.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:34, Reply)
I prefer other sorts of chocolate
Crunchies make my teeth hurt. It's Cadbury's Caramel or Galaxy hazelnut for preference.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:23, Reply)
I'd go with the caramel.

(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:24, Reply)
Don't like hazelnuts?
they are the best kind of nut.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:26, Reply)
I do like hazelnuts.
But I'd rather a caramel.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:27, Reply)
Sometimes it's too sickly though
rarely, I admit. But sometimes.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:32, Reply)
What wouldn't you ever buy?

(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:35, Reply)
Errrrrrm
I must admit, I'm struggling to think of chocolate that I wouldn't eat in an emergency. Not a big fan of mars bars.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:38, Reply)
I'd never buy a creme egg.
A mini creme egg, fine. But not a proper one.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:44, Reply)
Actually yes
creme eggs are vile. I ate too many of them when I was about 4 years old, had a massive creme-y, chocolate-y vom and have never been able to stomach them since.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:46, Reply)
The small ones are fine, they come in a bag.
But I don't think I've ever seen a full sized egg that has been properly, 100% covered in foil.

God only knows who has handled it.

(Eek! We've headed off to the right!)
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:49, Reply)
god, you're smart

(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 21:49, Reply)
Doffs hat.
Why, thank you lady.
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 21:52, Reply)
Hmmm, maybe
He is a bit far away, mind, but I like your thinking, also if Berk and Kristine agree, it must be good
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 21:54, Reply)
Otherwise, tell him you know of a PUB that is big on conceptual art, and arrange to meet there.

(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 21:57, Reply)
alternatively:
"There's an exhibition in my pants and you're invited to the opening"
(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 21:59, Reply)
Your pants have an opening?

(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:03, Reply)
otherwise how would I get my legs in?

(, Thu 17 Feb 2011, 22:05, Reply)
I'm not sure if this will send out the right message to the man you're not meeting.
