Learning things is good.
QI is not a bad way of learning things.
However, constantly regurgitating things that you, and everyone else, have seen on QI gets dull pretty quick. Perhaps you could try learning one or two things from somewhere else?

I refuse to watch this,
as it has Stephen Fry on.
Can't stand the man.

I learn things from all over the place
unfortunately because two that I have mentioned in as many days happen to have been from QI you seem to be suggesting that I only learn things from QI.

It's not like I was regurgitating it without prompting either.

Perhaps you could try watching something else, maybe something about wildlife like Madagascar?
Or how about Wonders of the Solar System, I heard that you like Cox.

Uranus?

I've watched both of those
and should the occasion arise I will constantly regurgitate facts from those as well.

The problem is not in the facts,
it's that you regurgitate them so smugly.
(, Tue 1 Mar 2011, 12:37, Reply)
the problem is you read them as if I was regurgitating them smugly
I'm smug about some things, but having a load of facts at my disposal isn't one of them. Although I'm certain it is for you.
