i like "why can't i" by liz phair and her cover of the rolling stones' "mother's little helper"
prob my favourite of hers is "somebody's miracle".

aimee mann is much darker, i like "save me" (which won an oscar for best song, i think) and "you could make a killing" both of which were in "magnolia". i love "amateur", which was in "sliding doors". and then i like "that's just what you are" because we've all been out with people who use the excuse that they are just a cunt to behave like a cunt!
