What sort of music ganra would you reckon this is?
I really like songs that I've decided to call "Emo Women (normally getting dumped)", it's the kind of music I really like, it's normally kindda soft-rocky and semi-accusticy.

Examples include
- Avril Lavign (when she's upset)
- Nataley Umbro (when she's getting dumped)
- Lisa Loeb (when she's not writting children's songs)
- Gabrielle (I quite like her upbeat stuff)
- Billy Myers, Merdith Brook, Joan Osborn.

What kind of music do you reckon that is? Do you have any more examples?

i like "why can't i" by liz phair and her cover of the rolling stones' "mother's little helper"
prob my favourite of hers is "somebody's miracle".

aimee mann is much darker, i like "save me" (which won an oscar for best song, i think) and "you could make a killing" both of which were in "magnolia". i love "amateur", which was in "sliding doors". and then i like "that's just what you are" because we've all been out with people who use the excuse that they are just a cunt to behave like a cunt!
