Will a full range of tests include a finger up my bum?

that test is for appendicitis
or prostatitis.

I think it's unlikely they'll test for the latter.

It's not great
but be glad it's just a finger and not a camera. I can't see any possible reason for them performing that particular test, unless your GP fancies you.
