so I had to (get mr b3th to) buy the real version.
I recently upgraded to a DS XL, but if I'd waited till next month, I bet the price would have been a lot less.
Damn me and my gadget impatience.

and I just couldn't get about a dozen of the latest releases to work. Some of them would start and then crash (Rooms) and others just wouldn't boot up at all. I keep looking at the firmware, but it never seems to include the updates I need.
All the best classic games will work on the AK2 though.

I'm not bothered by new games really, that's the good thing about not keeping up to date with console games, you can play the old ones cheaply and still have that 'new' experiance. I did have the origional DS with a cheat-cart but I haven't played it in like 4 years, the games (or apps, whatever) I'm looking forwards to are.
- The cooking book ones, like Jamie Oliver.
- The zelda ones (can you get classic zelda games on that shop thing they have?)
- New Super Mario Bros
- The leyton games
- anything along the lines of the leyton games.

The first two Layton games worked with my card, as did the last Zelda. I forget what that was called, but it was the one with two separate games on it.
I would heartily recommend Advance Wars Dual Screen (or whatever the latest Advance Wars game was called). That is a bloody cracking game.
