Depends on where you go
Tenerife - Las Americas/Los Christianos yes. Last time I went it was to a resort called Los Gigantes on the West coast. Lovely and quiet and great restaurants too.
Lanzarote - not been for years so can't say
Gran Canaria - Maspalomas has some really nice hotels there but this may be getting pricy

Just don't go to the main resorts
the Canary Islands are really lovely, it's just a shame so many utter cunts from the UK go and spoil bits of them.
