there's nothing actually wrong with it, but lemon and sugar is the king of pancake toppings and I'm always disappointed when I have something else, although the one you described earlier did sound pretty good.

Lamentably I'm not at home for pancake day, which means I won't get to make them myself.

As far as I know we're coming.
But don't take it from me because I'm totally leaving it to birthday boy. He said about leaving on the Fri and also about staying til the Sat and maybe heading off for town drinkage. I can't remember which one he settled on.
