Some people can't afford it, no matter how good the discount is, you never know what sort of bills or problems people have at home.I would think as long as your clothes are clean, presentable and don't break the dress code you should be allowed to wear whatever you want.

either that or they supply with an actual uniformAlso, because I do my own tax returns (well, my accountant does), when I had a part time job, I used to claim a tenner a month for cleaning my uniform.
