Ooh, actually, a question relevant to my situation:
How many "do you know who I am?" moments should I allow a colleague before it becomes acceptable to act upon the overwhelming desire to cunt him in the fuck?

Do you know who he is though?

(, Tue 15 Mar 2011, 14:02, Reply)
I do.
He was at great pains to point it out to me...

Two.

Hmm...I think he's had one and a half so far.
Edit: He is, arguably, a 'minor celebrity' but just seems to have a permanently disgusted scowl on his face and I just find him incredibly abrasive. I don't know if it's just me.

One and a half too far

I'm trying to work out whether he just has it in for me...

A minor celebrity?
I'm interested now. Tell him to fuck off though

He has a daily show on a popular London radio station
But seemed visibly offended when I didn't realise this.

Is it Monty's "mate"?

Can't be: this bloke knows a lot about dance music
and I had a conversation with him in which he tried to defend the validity of David Bowie's 'contribution' to popular music.

Argh
A cunt then

The 'half' was during his first few days with the group (he's just started doing his phd with us)
I came into a conversation in which he was discussing DJing with another colleague. Said other colleague DJs in his spare time in a few clubs, and I *thought* he had a slot on some small local station (turns out it was actually the college station...oops). I innocently asked,
"Oh, do you two work on the same station, then?"
He responded, with a certain level of contempt in his voice,
"No, I work on a pwoper* one."

*sic. He also has an occasional but jarring speech impediment.
