Goodness!Obviously you did the right thing and reported it, so the police should be following up things like witnesses. But make sure you don't get stuffed with losing your no claims bonus.

well I have the main witness's name and number, and she gave them to the police as well. i don't know what happens about insurance, guess I'll find out in the next few days.
