I'll be razzing down to Reading this afternoon...
.. to visit my daughter's B/F who's just been discharged from hospital. He was knocked off his motorbike on the M4 by a BMW-driving fucktard who decided that actually looking for other road users was beneath him.
Fortunately, said B/F rolled down the M4 without hitting anything (or being hit by anything) and only sustained some 'Samui tattoos' and a hole in his left shoulder where the laptop in his rucksac shattered and sent some sharp plastic bits through his jacket.
Rant over - Aaaand breathe!

On sunday it's the rehearsals for 'Belmstock' - the mighty Belmers are playing a local pub on the 31st with some guest performers (most of whom haven't played in public before). Could be a looong day.

The BMW sustained very little damage
However, as the police sergeant investigating the case commented to me just yesterday 'Completely the BMW driver's fault - nothing the biker could do, the car driver just didn't look. We're pulling his 'phone records and, if he was on the 'phone at the time, we'll throw the book at him'
CCTV on motorways is a good thing - not so good if you're a fucktard BMW driver.
