I always take painkillers when I need to.
Life's too short to spend it in pain. Besides, I've had that much illegal crap in my system in the past, it's seems churlish to not take over the counter drugs.

When my daughter was born (by caesarian section)
my ex was given near-dangerous levels of painkillers. They do this 'can you feel this' test, and if you can, they up the dose - they did this again and again and could not fucking believe she could still feel it. They were looking at each other in disbelief.

I 'lolled' because I knew why, the hardcore beeyatch.
