This is awful
Poor people, and poor us all if it touches the nuclear central again.
(, Thu 7 Apr 2011, 16:58, 1 reply, 15 years ago)
If all the nuclear material was shot directly into the sky it would do fuck all to us.

(, Thu 7 Apr 2011, 17:03, Reply)
We should shoot it into the sun with some genetically modified organs attached ina box

(, Thu 7 Apr 2011, 17:04, Reply)

Are you volenteering to pilot?
I can only imagine it would be like the hits 80's movie Inner Space, only without the need to shrink anyone

Isn't that what priests do every Sunday?

(, Thu 7 Apr 2011, 17:08, Reply)
I know that
but it has some interesting figures in it, I hadn't realised quite how much it was the people running the place's fault, and quite how few (relatively) people were badly affected.

That's fucking brilliant.

(, Thu 7 Apr 2011, 17:13, Reply)
I love this.
The trouble in nuclear power is more the disposal of used fuel, though. Isn't it?
(, Thu 7 Apr 2011, 17:29, Reply)
yeah, but it's not that bad
there are ways. my mrs did her dissertation on it.
(, Thu 7 Apr 2011, 18:09, Reply)
and that, all that has actually happened this time
is an astonishing demonstration of how well japanese nuclear power plants are constructed. But then "fucking insance earthquake and tidal wave STILL doesn't cause reactor core to melt down" is a rubbish headline.

And I love that they have suspended building reactors in Germany because of this. That's basically like closing skegness beach because of a shark attack in Melbourne.

Years ago there was a murder in a park in London and it was covered nationally i the media
Overall park attendence dropped across the country after this, as if the murder was on some sort of National tour.

My faith is restored.

(, Thu 7 Apr 2011, 17:25, Reply)
exactly my view
they should be commended for having built some fucking hardcore plants.

I heard some twat the other day saying we shouldn't build them, because we haven't had a big earthquake here, but we've had little ones, so we almost certainly will have a big one!

Ummm, no.
