I can't think of any accents that are offputting.
I'm not overly keen on Northern Irish accents to be honest.

I never liked the Northen Irish accent as a kid.
As, along with Geordie week, it was one of the two accents I couldn't understand when Why Don't You? was on the telly.

So I really did have to switch off my television set and do something less boring instead (well, for 20 minutes, then Kick Start would be on).

The whole thing was made up
turns out no kids sent in any good stuff so they made it all up and got some child actors to pretend.
