I do with wine too
and with spirits.

With wine you have some ham and good cheese. With spirits, something sweet, like chocolates. And with beer, salty stuff.

Yep, something like that
with the difference that the catalans that talk like that have no idea of history.

Each of the provinces that are now Catalonia joined Spain because they wanted (to get protection from the muslims) before Catalonia existed. That's something that came later, when we divided the country in comunities, but they were just four pieces of land that joined Aragon at different times. They were never a country in itself.
