My view is that it is extraordinarily dull and almost completely irrelevant.
The only party I could vote for with a clear conscience was disbanded under rather trying circumstances in the mid-1940s.

We are about to drink booze.

I'm not allowed any today.
When I'm seeing my child I'm not allowed even a single beer.

Something good will happen one day, Monters.

Maybe not.

*nosey house inspection by someone I swore I'd never let in my house again

Don't lose heart. It's worth the battle.

(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:30, Reply)
That's the one thing I am certain of.

She'll leave a little bag of drugs and then "find" it. Thus declaring you unfit.
Call her bluff by leaving loads of drugs around.

There, on the stair.

WTF is he doing?

(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:30, Reply)
Probably smoking drugs and watching porn
like all dutch people.
(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:31, Reply)
The likes me and you aren't invited.
I don't know what we did that was so wrong, I don't know what our people did that was so wrong, I don't know what the innocent children of the future yet to be born in a world gone wrong has done wrong.... but never the less, we ain't invited.
(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:36, Reply)
Unless it's a bus ride away from Brixton station, in which case I know exactly why I'm not invited.

(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:37, Reply)
She be getting her freak on and doing the nasty.

(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:39, Reply)
Because you refuse to demean yourself by getting on a bus?

(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:40, Reply)
It's not the bus I object too, I got on one today, use them most weeks.
But lol, yeah', that's it. I've only been to Brixton once, I was 13 and going on a failed telly show which was a technology quiz thing. I won 10 PC Video games and it took them 6 months deliver FF7, the only game that arrived.... I've been shit-scared of brixton ever since.
(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:46, Reply)
Where I got the impression that I can't be stabbed on the tube but am guarntied to get stabbed on a night/brixton/wood-green bus.... I have no idea.
But please god don't pop that bobble that I could still be stabbed on the tube or I'll never leave N14.
(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:50, Reply)
I reckon we need to bring back the MRLP, they bought humour which in itself brings dignaty to the whole thing.

Screaming Lord Sutch killed himself, sadly.

(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:38, Reply)
I donno what differance that makes, Cromwell's dead too*.
Although his Cat is surely less eligent in writtings.

Also, I always stop myself writting 'such' as 'Sutch', because that is how I say it.

* Oldest politition I can think of.

I was just remarking that he'd topped himself. Very sad.
He was a real pioneer in rock'n'roll as well - Alice Cooper nicked his stage act wholesale (he freely admits this), coffins and horror makeup etc - and his drummer Carlo Little was a major influence on (and at one point tutor of) Keith Moon of The 'Oo.

Bartleby saw him live in Wembley in 1973.

I saw Sutch & Co at the Station Tavern back in the early Nineties.
His guitarist, Little Lenny, was only fractionally taller than the Strat he (Lenny) was playing ...
(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:48, Reply)
Haha
The problem with his music is that it was shit. He really wasn't very good was he?
(, Fri 15 Apr 2011, 16:52, Reply)
Agreed - I think Sutch and Lenny were sitting in with some other band's rhythm section.
I can remember the band's usual lead chap (think it was Mo'Indigo if memory serves, it was a long time ago) sitting there looking a little bit shellshocked as the Loonies rampaged around in a blues style ... it was funny to watch though!
