Serendipity
I was speculating earlier about what to do tomorrow. I'd got as far as "I really want some more exercise, but it's so hot here it'd be really nice to go to the coast" when out of the blue I got a text from a friend inviting me to go to the Norfolk coast tomorrow for some relaxation and power kiting. Yay!

When has someone apparently read your mind lately?

Alt: Homebrew. Good, bad, or just plain awful?

I was on my way into work just after christmas thinking
"sure wish I had a cardigan, it's a bit cold" Then found a present on my desk, which turned out to be a nice cardigan.

alt. I'm sure it could be good but I've never had good homebrew mead, orange wine was vile and parsnip wine was undrinkable. I don't want to recall the beer with a chewy head. (btw none of these were made by me)

Until you try
Runner beans and elderberry wine, don't make your mind up.

I'm going to be sickly here
and say that Mark always reads my mind. And my mum; she always calls when I need the toilet.

Homebrew is fantastic, if you know what you're doing. You might get some crap sometimes, but normally is very nice and fun to make.

We make quite a lot
Mostly stuff like bramble wine and homemade cider, but we've made plum melomel too. You can't drink a lot of it but you don't have to - one sip is enough to feel warm and cosy inside.

By the way, I didn't reply to your kite question earlier because I had to go out into the real world for a while. I fly and teach power kiting, as in my sig.

I do beer
But Mark does wine too, and very nice.

Power kiting? No idea what it is, but sounds fun!

I don't know, most of the time it's just music in my head carrying on the song that I left off
such as in the morning my brain will be singing the end of a lyric and when I start my car that will be where I left off on the cd

alt: I've never had any
