You should have said football or something like that.
I did ballet at school. I wasn't bad, I was awful, as at any other sport. No B3ta ballet class for me, thanks.

our teacher told us that we had to join the choir. Went to one practice and the teacher was all "yeah, you don't need to be in the choir"

And it would have no useful purpose for me any more. As a kid I dreamt of being a professional footballer, but I think my moment to do so may have passed now. Whereas if I was good at Ballet it would be enormously useful for my Ballroom, in respect of balance, posture and flexibility.
